The pair of surface water drains are located at the end of Alfred Street, at the bottom of some steps. They are blocked by tree debris. In heavy rain, the surface water runs down St Andrews Terrace causing large amounts of ponding affecting adjacent residential properties.

This drain constantly blocks up due to the nearby tree. The tree species drops its leaves all year round.
