The street signs are incorrect
Reported via desktop in the Street nameplate damage category anonymously at 18:45, Thu 28 January 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2508135.
The street signs for Huddox Hill are incorrect and very misleading. As you turn off the high street onto Belle Vue Close Huddox Hill is an immediate right again down a small, unlit single carriageway lane but the sign suggests you you bare off left to the side of the Christadelhiann Church where there are a number on bungalows. There is no actual sign at the top of Huddox Hill, one of the residents has had to paint on a slab to indicate this but in the night when it’s dark this cannot be seen. We are always having issues with people not being able to find us as the street signs are wrong. I reported this issue a while ago and was told I’d be updated but haven’t had any further correspondence. Kind Regards, Millie

Thank you for your report. The street name plates were replaced previously at the request and guidance of the residents. The Highway Inspector has confirmed that Huddox Hill is a private road on both sides and confirms the street name plates already in place will remain as they are.
