Damage to footpath

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 16:30, Saturday 30 January 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2512389.

I regularly walk the path from Station Rd to Kaynton Mead; the first 15mtrs is tarmac, the rest is gravel with wide grass verges. About 10 days ago a large tracked vehicle drove along the pathway churning up the verges which are now deeply rutted and muddy. The pathway beyond the slope to the Mead is all churned mud and the slope has been badly gouged. On Weds or Thursday I saw 3 workmen sweeping mud from the road surface in the Mead but the wide steps at the west end are clogged with mud, presumably caused by the work, whatever that was.Can you please inspect the damage and ensure some restitution. It would be good to have the full path as tarmac as it is used a lot
