Flooding - Ongoing

Reported via desktop in the Mud or debris on the road category anonymously at 14:29, Wednesday 3 February 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 2522043.

This has been reported a number of times by different people and Banes highways have known about this for years and have done nothing about this. Outside of 27/28 Brassmill when it rains the area floods and at times people have to walk into the road. This needs to be fixed and at the same time the gutters and drains need cleaning and then cleaned on going every few months. This does not happen at the moment. Please can you fix this before some gets knocked down by having to walk into the road, don't forget its right by a crossing into the play area as well.

  • The council have now said this will be fixed this has been said for a least the last 2 years. When will it be fixed and the area be made safe before someone is knocked down by a car having to walk into the road. The island was clearly not planned well with correct drainage.
