Flooding on an OPRA
Reported via desktop in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 16:25, Sun 7 February 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2531743.
The National Street Gazetteer indicates that Uplands Lane Chewton Keynsham is maintainable at public expense by the Local Highway Authority i.e. BANES. This lane which is an OPRA is not fully shown on your map. The section in Chewton Keynsham between the village and the River Chew is badly rutted and is under water quite often. At present it is totally impassable for walkers as it is flooded from hedgerow to hedgerow . Water drains into the lane from either side of it and the roadway is badly in need of some attention.
