Vegetation obscuring Street lights
Reported via iOS in the Street light fault category anonymously at 07:43, Monday 15 February 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2545859.
Trees in this area have grown so big that for most of the year they block out all light from the streetlights resulting in pavement being in darkness. Either the trees need to be regularly thinned out or cut back to let the light shine down. Or the lights need moving to the other side of the road.

We have carried out an inspection of the area and the trees in question seem to be growing from private property. We shall be writing to the residents we feel are responsible for the trees to request they to cut back some of the vegetation. This report is now closed but we can add further comments if required.
