Poor surface on of Pensford viaduct - along the river, just behind The Rising Sun.
Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category by Bath and North East Somerset Council at 15:37, Monday
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2564506.
Hi I would like to report a footpath which has been decimated by the huge numbers of walkers using it in Pensford. I tried using a report it form, but because of its location the map wouldn’t work. As the land owner I have done some research and it appears that the council / highways are responsible for the surface of this path. Under normal use this path would be grassed and have my farm animals on it but is now over 2metres wide and a quagmire. Please can someone from highways call me to discuss our options as it’s become dangerous to navigate being so close the river. Wood chip or gravel would be one way of making it more safe.
