Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 12:38, Wed 24 February 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2569080.
THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER 12 MONTHS [March 2020] Did no one read my report. Did no one see the photos. This is not an accident waiting to happen IT WAS AN ACCIDENT THAT HAPPENED!! [As I reported] WE WITNESSED A YOUNG GIRL COME OFF HER MOTORBIKE AND GET TRAPPED UNDERNEATH IT AFTER HITTING THE POTHOLES
SPEAK TO HER OFF SICK AT HOME WONDERING HOW TO PAY FOR REPAIRS TO HER MACHINE. This is a serious safety issue that needs addressing ASAP
This is a serious report that needs proper addressing. Why is no one taking it seriously.
Who can I escalate this issue to express my concerns for the safety of other road users.
Would you like a site meeting to point out and show you the dangers and public concerns.
Please contact me if so.
[FYI I have been in road safety, traffic management and worked for 2 Road Safety organisations for nearly 50 years I am sorry if this report is a bit accusatory [in reading reports seeing photos etc] As I reported it late PM yesterday and it was cancelled in the early hours this morning. I thought this was strange unless it was a nightshift. It has been flagged up many times in the last year alone.

If you open the photos full screen you can really see and appreciate the full extent of this serious road safety issue as proven by a bad accident that we witnessed and had to close the road whilst the injured girl was rescued from being trapped under he motorbike after losing control in the pothole[s]
