Frequent traffic jams

Reported via desktop in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 10:38, Monday 1 March 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2578778.

Can you please put double yellow lines outside Fairfield Park Stores. Cars and lorries frequently park outside and there is not enough space for vehicles to pass as there are parked cars on the other side of the road. On Sunday a lorry had parked up and a queue back to Eastbourne Av had built up, including the bus service. What if an emergency vehicle was trying to pass? It would have to find an alternative route adding to response times. This request was previously dismissed, but most people using the store (including me) walk as we live local and if people have to drive there is usually space on Midsummer Buildings. They will have to walk an extra 20 metres which will also help improve peoples health for free. Surely something the council support.
