We live at the bottom edge of Garstons, Bathford. Our back gardens are over shadowed by the trees planted between our fences and the continuation of Ashley Rd to the farm. These trees have now grown to a size where they are causing damage to our garden by their roots and are becoming dangerous by their very size, and their overhanging branches which are cutting out the light in the gardens.
They are planted on a steep bank and this in itself gives rise to the serious risk that in stormy weather, the roots will give way and the trees could fall, either onto Garstons houses or on to the houses close by.
We therefore request urgent consideration to be given to lopping these trees to a manageable size before a serious accident occurs.
