The bus stop is being used as a parking area for parents dropping off and pick up at the nursery opposite.

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 2633748.

At particularly busy drop off and pick up times for the nursery (0800-0830 and 1700-1800), the bus stop is being used by many people to park and take their children into the nursery. This doesn't leave any passing spaces on the narrow Combe Road so clogs the road with traffic; doesn't allow buses to stop at the appropriate stop to allow people to alight safely; and is making it difficult for people to cross the road safely. Once parked, drivers often reverse over the pavement into the private lane in order to turn around so it is becoming increasingly unsafe for people using the road. Especially as a large number of those at that time are people walking with young children to the nursery.
