Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 21:53, Monday 12 April 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2668041.
I reported several potholes on North Road but BANES has commented that they have decided no action for now and to refer to their website as to how decisions are made. Can someone at BANES clarify how potholes are decided to be 'severe' or 'less serious'? As a cyclist I know it will be very difficult to control my bike if I am forced to ride into one of these potholes due to car related traffic. There are at least 3 dangerous potholes in the middle of the decent of North Road, exactly where cyclists have to ride due to parked cars.
Thank you for this report. We will review the details and carry out an inspection of the site if required.
