Faded Yellow Line and White Road Markings on Northend

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2679114.

Near no 11 and opposite the junction with School Lane. Resident reports "I have the garage almost opposite School Lane and the double yellow lines are very faded. Although I have a No Parking sign up, people frequently park there, particularly the parents from the primary school. It is extremely annoying to have the garage blocked so often. The parking attendant on his motorbike isn't here very often so it is a regular occurrence. It would be very helpful if the double yellow lines were repainted and therefore much clearer, they badly need doing. The young children from the Primary school in School Lane use the gap in the road in front of my garage to cross the road. If cars are parked there, it blocks the gap and also the line of vision of the accompanying teacher for oncoming traffic. Sometimes 25-30 children need to cross the road to get to the church and other walks. Therefore it would be helpful if cars did not park there.
