"slow" marking is too faded to read
Reported via desktop in the Faded road markings category by Dee Brownsell at 12:27, Sunday 2 May 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2702281.
Leaving Keynsham on Charlton Road towards REDLYNCH Lane Chewton keynsham/ Queen Charlton junction, the road marking saying SLOW are too faded. ( the road markings on the opposite side entering keynsham have been re written to make them clearer) . A SERIOUS near-miss occurred this week with a car, exiting Redlynch turning right onto Charlton Road. was narrowly missed by a speeding car travelling out of Keynsham. REDLYNCH LANE is a VERY dangerous junction and is a blind bend . Vehicles leaving Keynsham start to speed up as they leave BILBIE Green estate and are driving FAR TOO FAST when approaching the hidden turning of REDLYNCH LANE, despite a small sign advising a junction is ahead. Ideally, I think speed warning flashing lights should be installed but whilst the costings of that are considered , the lines need to be repainted as a matter of urgency please. PLEASE DO NOT DELAY.
