Highways Retaining Wall - potentially unsafe and in a deteriorating condition
Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 10:41, Sat 8 May 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2713169.
The Highways Agency has surveyed and conducted remedial work on this wall in the past but it is not known when this was last completed. The A431 is retained at 277 Kelston Road and the wall is in a deteriorating condition. Survey and repair is required now to restore the integrity of the wall. Without action there is a risk that the wall will collapse. The potential consequences include risk to life and closure and disruption of the A431.
