Not being mowed properly

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 20:05, Monday 10 May 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2717733.

The people who mow that grassy bit behind COOP have not done it properly as they used to. They have let the grass get overgrown and it means lazy people don't pick their dog poo. We have to go out there and pick it up. It also means that access is more difficult, we can't get out there to play and use the whole area and it's overgrown grass, covered in dog poo. Please start mowing again properly - it is not that much more effort and it make a real difference to the people who use it. Thanks.

Updates

  • This may be deliberate as an attempt to encourage wild flowers. However if the grass is used for playing, this location may not be an appropriate place for this approach (unlike, say, a road verge).
