Entire road needs evaluating
Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 20:11, Mon 10 May 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2717744.
This road is a very narrow road/track which has seen a dramatic uptick in the amount of traffic using it, in part due to parents dropping off Beavers/Cubs and Scouts who use the land as a camp.
There are a number of problems here: 1: Pot holes and road damage - the road is literally crumbling away in places 2: Lack of passing spaces - there are too few passing spaces for the length of road causing traffic to mount the verges which in turn is causing even more damage. Some passing points are blocked off due to being unsafe to use. 3: Volume of traffic - the road can get quite busy and is wholly unsuitable for regular two-way traffic.
Please can the council re-evaluate this road with a view to making it a one-way system, increase the number of passing spaces and urgently repair the potholes as they are getting large enough to cause vehicular damage
