Insecure open space
Reported via desktop in the Park safety issue category anonymously at 19:26, Wed 12 May 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2722496.
Gate, padlock and chain provide insufficient security for the Entry Hill Open Space which has had numerous break ins and occupation by travellers which has each time has left significant mess. Gate needs replacing with a secure and ideally height restricted gate arrangement with a proper lock to prevent the inevitable summer occupation. BANES have promised to do this but nothing has happened. Please can this be actioned ASAP to protect the green space amenity and peace of mind of the local council tax payers.
