Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2731439.
Yesterday there were two collisions on the roundabout and there is evidence of another one that has happened already today by lunch time.
The one I saw yesterday is the same as the others I've seen there recently.
Vehicles are leaving Keynsham with too much speed and hopping/cutting over the roundabout and hitting cars turning into old Bristol Road on the roundabout.
And of course, the only way up stockwood hill is via this roundabout since the north part of Old Bristol Road was made one way a while back.
Vehicles turn right to go up towards the lane, the vehicles leaving East from Keynsham are not doing 30mph, compounding the issue further.
I've added this as road sign damage as the road markings are poor/wearing away from both east and south west directions, but there is a larger issue here hence this report is also being sent to the local councilors also.
Stand near the roundabout for 10 minutes to observe and you'll quickly see the issue. It's the speed vehicles enter the roundabout on both sides of Bristol Road.
Thank you for this report. We will review the details and carry out an inspection of the site if required.
