Footpath falling into River Chew

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2732451.

The public footpath is falling into Winford Brook on path between Battle Lane and Chew Hill. If this edge is not stabilised urgently the a complete section of path will fall into the Winford Brook and undermine the retaining wall on the other side of the path. Urgent action is required.

  • Apologies; I titled this post "River Chew" when it should be Winford Brook which joins the River Chew to the east of Chew Magna.
