Overgrown tree by YMCA blocking out light
Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 10:18, Wednesday 19 May 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2735457.
Could someone please attend and cut back the overgrown tree by the YMCA gym that is blocking out the light. The branches are this tree are obstructive and they have also been falling recently.
Furthermore, we have some large empty flower beds located by the fountain that have never been used. Therefore, these flower beds are regularly used as a hiding place for drugs dealers and we would request that they are removed.
Or replace the flower beds with planted tubs to replicate their original intended purpose.

Trees at Broad St Place were inspected in Autumn of 2020 and routine works were identified and have been included in the routine works programme.
Category changed from ‘Trees and woodland’ to ‘Obstructive vegetation’

This is still outstanding and is becoming an issue, especially with recent actions regarding drug dealing/taking by the overgrown flower beds!
