Dangerous Crossing for pedestrians

Reported via desktop in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 09:50, Monday 24 May 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2745078.

There is a footpath up the left side of Pennyquick. But the road was far too dangerous to cross, given the amount of fast moving traffic on Sunday. There needs to be a light controlled crossing to enable pedestrians to visit Newton St Loe safely. If pedestrians were not expected to cross the road at this point - there would be no need for the pavements provided. There are pavements and a drop kerb that seems to indicate a safe crossing point.
