Trees need water!
Reported via mobile in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 13:02, Thu 27 May 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2752868.
Further to original report 2655399 on 7 April, and update on 3 May, the situation is not Fixed! The trees seemed dead in April but with the wet weather over last few week sprang into life - but now the leaves are shrivelling and all these trees in the London Rd central reservation desperately need watering. If BANES can’t do it , ask the Fire Brigade?? Thanks

Thank you for your report. We've looked into this report and are investigating the issue. The ground is very wet at the moment as it is only 2 days since it rained and other street trees in similar locations do not need watering so it may be other factors causing stress to the trees. We will investigate to see the most appropriate action the council can take to improve the health of the trees. We will update this report once we decide what action to take.

Those responsible seem to think the ground is wer for these trees - I disagree as the ground around the trunks is dry & dusty / surrounded by concrete and tarmac in the central reservation..... Even when it rains, little water will find its way to the roots. It hasn't tained significantly for over a week now - these trees need water!!
