Playing field in larkhall

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 18:41, Sunday 6 June 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2772415.

The park at both Larkhall playing field and the spa lane playfield is so overgrown it is disgusting and even when u cut it all u do is put a small pathway around it not leaving any where for children to play at all , I am all for leaving small areas long for wildlife but it look as though u are growing it for hay making ,there was huge tick problems last year and this is not acceptable

Updates

  • I have been told that they want to leave it long for butterflies, bees and slow worms which I think is great for the far end but not this end ,we bought our house many years ago partly because of the playing field ,not an overgrown mess with a crop circle
