Tree roots exposed through pavement outside 106 Southdown road
Reported via mobile in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 11:21, Sat 12 June 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2786840.
We have reported an issue with the tree outside our house on several occasions. When we 1st move here in 2001 we reported that the tree roots were lifting the pavement outside our house and also our pathway in our front garden. This has gradually got worse over the years. My father who is over 60 years old fell over the exposed tree root outside the house a month ago and my partner also slipped on the tree root outside the house 3 weeks ago resulting in ripped trousers attached and a nasty cut on his knee. (attached pics for your records).
I am concerned as the problem is getting worse, ourselves and our neighbours have reported the problem on several occasions and nothing has been done. What will it take for you to take it seriously (broken limbs or worse??). As you can see in the attached pictures the tree root is also lifting the pavement in our front garden and we are getting concerned this may affect the foundations of the property.
