Very deep pothole

Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 16:28, Tuesday 15 June 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2794089.

The pothole has been here for a while but is getting worse due to the volume of traffic now using this road as a ratrun. The road usually has parking on both sides of the street which means it is hard to avoid the pothole if someone is coming in the opposite direction. The pothole is now very deep and is likely to cause damage to vehicles.

  • Claremont Buildings, Evelyn Road, Fairfield Road and Croft Road have all been recently resurfaced and in some places were in much better condition than HawardenTerrace or Baytree Road. When are BANES going to programme these works?
