Long grass and dog poo

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 16:19, Mon 26 July 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2892168.

Dear Sir

I realise that in some cases grass is being left to grow long for wild flowers and insects etc. However, this makes a large amount of Springfield Park unusable by children AND for dog walker harder to pick up dog poo in long grass as it's so much easier to collect from a flat surface or short grass. Please could you start cutting the really long grass please to make it pleasant for all? Many thanks
