Recently reported, drain not functioning opposite Manor Farm Cottage.
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category by Mrs Heather Leverton at 09:23, Wednesday 28 July 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2896230.
This drain has not been functioning for 10+ years. The water quickly builds up causing flooding right across the highway as it can't get away, sometimes to a depth of several inches. This is happening more frequently and is a considerable hazard to the ever increasing traffic cutting through Chewton Keynsham. The drain has never been successfully cleaned through.
Thank you for this report. We will review the details and carry out an inspection of the site if required.
