Footpaths around local area becoming very overgrown
Reported via mobile in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In the countryside category anonymously at 19:46, Fri 30 July 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 weeks, 6 days, 14 hours, 45 minutes later. Council ref: 2903281.
The footpaths in the local area, including the cycle path from Radstock to Westfield and the path at the top of the Pit Path, are extremely overgrown with nettles and brambles. There is not room to even walk single file with touching the nettles and brambles. When passing other path users, someone has to stand in the nettles to let the other pass. A large number of elderly and vulnerable people use these paths, these people and others are still attempting to social distance. This is impossible when the paths are as overgrown as they are now.
