Multiple recent raw sewage flooding onto street and into our doorway
Reported via desktop in the Flooding of a road or pavement category by Tony Mercer at 15:59, Monday 2 August 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2908882.
This is additional to my report of 23rd May. Since then this drain has overflowed multiple additional times. Each time it is flooding raw sewage onto the road and into our doorway. Very unpleasant and I believe likely to become a public health hazard.
Thank you for this report. We will review the details and carry out an inspection of the site if required.

Hello, thank you for your report, this issue appears to be arising from the sewer line which Wessex Water would be responsible for, rather than the highway drainage. We have passed on the details in this report to Wessex Water and requested they investigate their sewer line here. As this report is not concerning the highway drainage we will close this report.
