A367 cycle lane at Odd Down partially impassable because of overhanging hedge
Reported via desktop in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In the countryside category anonymously at 09:13, Mon 9 August 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 month, 2 weeks, 1 day, 2 hours, 1 minute later. Council ref: 2923174.
My husband is a cyclist along this route daily. We would like to report the dangerous situation as a result of the hedge now overhanging the lane. It is no longer possible to stay in the lane because of the overhanging branches. It requires moving into the Bath city vehicle lane because some parts are totally blocked. This is extremely dangerous for the already vulnerable cyclist as cars travel at 40 mph (and sometimes much more) along this stretch until the speed limit decreases to 30 mph (often ignored). Can I please ask when this foliage will be removed, before there is an accident or death?
