Over grown grass verge/public space

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 10:43, Wed 11 August 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2928296.

For the second year running the residents of Lytton Grove have watched council staff cut the grass verges and public spaces along Lytton Grove and on the corner of Chelsea Close but fail to carry on this task to cut back the grass verge/area in the cul-de-sac end of Lytton Grove. Indeed all the grass verges and public spaces in Lytton Grove, Chelsea Close and the surrounding streets were mown yesterday 10/8/21 but the grass area in the cul-de-sac was left uncut.

Before 2020 this grassed area was mown regularly by council staff but last year it seemed to get forgotten until we complained and this year seems to be no different.

Please arrange for the grass to be cut as soon as possible. Not only is it an eyesore, the wind is causing the weeds and grass to spread across the road into the gardens of the properties opposite.

Also, please check and ensure that cutting this grass is on the list of areas to be cut along with the rest of the verges in Lytton Grove and reinstate it if it is not.

Thank you
