Chicane needed
Reported via desktop in the Park safety issue category anonymously at 09:24, Mon 16 August 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2937696.
Chicanes, or similar barriers are needed on both ends of the riverside path to stop mopeds and motorbikes using it as a cut through. There have been reports of near accidents with pedestrians and dog walkers. I noticed there was an abandoned moped in the river last week. Whether cyclists should dismount is another issue, as there is a no cycling sign one end and not the other.

The missing no cycling sign will be replaced. If we install a chicane, we will prevent disability buggies accessing the park.
