Footpath blocked by overgrown trees at the bottom of Marsden Road (close to 62 Marsden Road)
Reported via desktop in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 14:45, Friday 10 September 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2992802.
The path is a public right of way and the owners of the Trees/bushes are no 23 & 25 Georgian View. They have not kept up with the vegetation at the back of their property for years. The bushes are blocking the pathway. On a similar note the overhang from the trees is encouraging pidgeons to nest and the road is fully of excrement, dropped berries and leaves. In the winter months this becomes hazardous to pedestrians and motorist using the end of the cul de sac to turn round. The situation has got so bad I am making a formal complaint to the council. I have sent a letter of complaint to the residents who own the trees/bushes.
Thank you for your report, it will be reviewed by the appropriate team.

The vegetation here does not belong to the Council, but we have asked the responsible party to take action. We are closing this report, but will check that the work has been done within the appropriate timescale and take further action if needed.
