Veg over road signs
Reported via desktop in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In the countryside category anonymously at 13:34, Monday 13 September 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 19 hours, 2 minutes later. Council ref: 2997873.
I have had reports concerning that the roadside vegetation is completely covering road signs which should protect vulnerable pedestrians, especially children on their way to school - Winford Road, just before Chilly Hill Lane and Dark Lane where there is no pavement and cars regularly exceed the speed limit as they continue their journey into our village. Reported ner 2782209 and works scheduled in June but we are now mid sept and the road signs are still covered making this road hazardous.
We've passed this report to another team in the council. They will carry out any further work needed. Sometimes it can take a little longer as a result.
We'll update this report once we've decide what action to take.
