Excessive growth of Privet Hedge
Reported via desktop in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 10:11, Wednesday 15 September 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3002270.
Elevated above the pavement [head height] grows a privet hedge on the boundary wall of the Youth Hub at Radstock Youth Centre. In previous years Radstock In Bloom have reported this in order for the hedge to be cut before judging day. This did not happen, I guess, this year so no clearance has been undertaken. The vegetation now extends half way across the pavement especially near the steps to enter the premises. There are also brambles within the growth overhanging. Now that schools are open again, I feel this quite a dangerous situation re. the safety of pedestrians EYES, let alone 'Social Distancing ' re. Covid.. Can it been rectified ASAP, please.
Thank you for your report, it will be reviewed by the appropriate team.
