Pavement outside No 31 Manor Park (BA13RJ) too steep and damaging cars
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 14:15, Mon 27 September 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3027706.
The pavement outside our house (31 Manor Park) has been build too high and is making access to our drive very challenging. The hump on the pavement is causing damage to cars which have to scrape across it. Our recently bought car is currently at the garage to repair the damage caused by the hump. All of our visitors have had problems with this hump. There is no way for a car to entering or leaving the drive without scraping and potentially experiencing some damage. We would be grateful if this hump could be lowered so our drive becomes accessible.

We live next door, number 30 Manor Park, and have suffered the same problem. Your team has marked an area with white paint but it looks to us that the repair needs to be wider than the paint marks, in order to incorporate more of our driveway entrance, so as to be effective. We suggest both driveways in their entirety to smooth out the humps and eliminate the cars scraping.

My neighbour at No 30 has added a comment and I would agree that removing the whole hump across the driveways rather than the limited area delineated by the marking would make a huge difference to the scraping.
