Dead trees falling from hedge onto property

This tree had fallen onto our property yesterday.We took it down and removed this one but there are several other dead trees in the same line that will come down.This tree fell onto the phone lines .Others are taller and will fall on the electrical lines or more importantly may come down on children walking to the park !

  • We've looked into this report and are investigating the issue. The trees are growing on private land not land the council is responsible for so are the landowner's responsibility. If you know the landowner it would be helpful if you could explain the issue to them. This will be followed up by the council in relation to hazards to the highway. We will update this report once we decide what action to take.
