Overhanging trees onto private land

Reported via desktop in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 11:48, Monday 11 October 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3054785.

The trees along Nelson Place West are encroaching on private land across the road and could start to interfere with building works being carried out in that area. The top / side of the canopy needs to be reduced whilst the trees are dormant over the winter period.

  • Thank you for your report. The trees here are inspected regularly and any routine maintenance works will be identified during the visit. We do not generally recommend crown reduction works as they are expensive and bad for tree health.
