Loose manhole cover outside Bloomfield Cottages and new housing development

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3084808.

This manhole cover was repaired a few months ago as the tarmac around it had deteriorated and the drain cover was making an awful noise when vehicles drove over it. The road has since been dug up on numerous occasions by various utility companies for the new housing development and the drain is loose again so the horrible noise is back. It seems they have not set the drain back in its place properly. Please could this be looked at before it gets any worse and the noise drives us all insane again!

  • The drain is getting worse as suspected and the noise is unbearable. Please could this be addressed ASAP.
