Illegal parking

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 14:42, Wed 27 October 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 months, 2 weeks, 6 days, 47 minutes later. Council ref: 3087934.

Widcombe Hill between Widcombe Hill View and Prospect Road is barely passable and is causing traffic jam. Cars are parked right opposite each other because the double yellow lines are obscured by fallen leaves. It is difficult for a single car to pass in some places all along the area where it is meant to allow one car in each direction.

  • As of 2pm on 30the November 2021 this problem has returned. There is parking on both sides of the road for a considerable length of the roadway, and it's becoming a lottery for the single vehicle width gap between the parked cars. There is likely to be an altercation, or accident, or both from this parking.
