Reported via iOS in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 20:48, Mon 1 November 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3098033.
Still very big pothole along Eastfield Avenue along by the steps They fixed one further down the road but there still a few more to do. It seems even throw they totally resurfaced Eastfield Avenue about 6 months ago is still breaking up because of the Double Decker buses running from 6am to Midnight non stop.

They have done a makeshift job and you can see it won’t be long until it will need repairing again. If you go along Eastfield Avenue you will see about 8 potholes or even more that are getting dangerous. The one down the road where Eastfield Avenue meets The Weal which was repaired only about 2 months ago has already getting bad again. Someone really needs to take a good look at Eastfield Avenue and do something about the number of double decker buses running non stop from 6am to 12am , 18 hours a day .

The road has crumbled outside no 86. My suspension snapped due to a pothole on this road.

Photos taken a week apart! My house is banging every time a bus or delivery truck goes past. Affecting sleep. Our cars are getting battered by large stones thrown up out of the hole. This is incredibly dangerous for motorcycles and bikes. There are more potholes,Ed of similar severity down the same road.

For the time being the problem has been fixed but like every pothole along Eastfield Avenue it won’t be long before they start breaking up again. The pothole I reported is showing signs that it’s starting to break up again.

Huge deep potholes along the upper stretch of Eastfield. One so deep it has a sharp edge approx 8inch deep. The bus hits it and it makes a noise that shakes the house. Dangerously deep. Do we need double deckers? These holes are all where the double decker outside wheels go along the pavement edge. Please ask the council to review this asap
