Overhanging trees

Reported via desktop in the Trees and woodland category by Chris White at 08:44, Thu 11 November 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3117207.

Calton Gardens is a row of private houses on one side of the road, the other side being part of the Beechen Cliff Woodland which is maintained by BaNES. Woodland trees growing close to the road have become tall and overgrown, blocking light and overhanging the roadway to the extent that the branches brush against tall vehicles. On several occasions high winds have led to branches falling from the trees and blocking the road. The problem is particularly apparent near the junction of Calton Gardens with Calton Road.

Could I please suggest that the Council assesses the situation and undertakes any necessary pruning or removal of overgrown trees.

Thank you for any help you can provide on this matter.
