Why are the roadwork traffic light only letting 6 cars out to 20 cars in?? This is madness at busy times 30 mins to do half a mile ( from two junctions back roundabout)

On Cleveland bridge itself, where the traffic is flowing, there are TWO places where the tarmac meets another area of tarmac but they are at slightly different heights. At some stage presumably these had a small ‘tarmac ramp’ but this has worn away meaning that there is now a gap between each of the two areas. Cars are now in danger of damaging their tyres and motorbikes in. Danger of coming off.
