Light out in Nicholls Court/Place

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3151284.

The street light is out in the corridor that connects from Belvedere to Nicholls Court/Place. As a parent of a young child, this means walking 80 metres from the main road to our front door in total darkness. There is also an elderly resident residing at Nicholls Court who is afraid to walk at night due to this outage!

  • Our contractors have confirmed that a new lantern and bracket will need to be fitted here. . We shall arrange for the this work to take place and apologise for the delay while this work is arranged. Further information will be added if as required.

  • We can confirm that our contractors have been asked to source and fit a new bracket arm and lantern. We are sorry for the delay and trust our contractors will arrange this work as quickly as they can.

  • Further to above, we can confirm that a decision has not yet been made about the fit of a heritage style lantern. We shall be looking into this further and then trying to source a suitable a lantern. We are sorry this takes some time and trust the current LED lantern is illuminating the area sufficiently in the meantime. We an add further information here when available.
