Step into property now badly destroyed by lorry. Wall also partly destroyed.
Reported via desktop in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 12:02, Tue 30 November 2021
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3151285.
This step has been being destroyed piece by piece for around eight years since the parking opposite was replaced by double yellow lines. The parish council has been aware of it all this time. So has BANES. The step is the only entrance to the property and is now dangerous because it has completely come away from the wall. It has been here for 300 years. It has been destroyed by speeding lorries in the last 10 years. Please put up a sign for traffic coming down the hill to give way to oncoming traffic as is common everywhere else. This is a dangerous pinch-point. Please redirect ever-increasing lorry traffic. Please repair step. Please reinstate parking. There is not enough parking left as homes rush to convert property to rent.

Report sent does not seem to include the important damage which is now really dangerous for myself and all who use my property. I am sending again.

The council say they have passed the issue on to signage and repairs and therefore it is resolved. So far the damage done has not been repaired. Nothing has changed.
