New beacon obscured

Reported via iOS in the Road sign damage category by Guy hodgson at 11:13, Sat 11 December 2021

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 months, 2 days, 23 hours, 53 minutes later. Council ref: 3173230.

The island and new beacon are most welcome here, as there have been a number of rear end shunts.

However, the fancy LED studded central beacon is somewhat obscured from the roundabout side by the weight and width restriction sign.

I feel the beacon is more important- i suspect drivers are well aware in most cases of the weight and width restrictions but still choose to ignore it. Can the sign be made smaller or (re)moved?

Many thanks
