Pollarding of River Bank Trees

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category by Elisabeth Evans at 10:06, Saturday 8 January 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3224560.

This was reported to FixMyStreet on the 23.02.2021. No acknowledgement was received however we were informed by Saltford Parish Council that this would be done in the Autumn of 2021. Nothing has been actioned and Autumn has passed. It is approximately 6 years since these trees were pollarded and some branches are in excess of 12 feet above the top of the trunk. Branches are being broken off as the large delivery vehicles and tankers hit them, causing debris in Mead Lane Saltford with some branches precariously left hanging. THIS IS URGENT, please advise when this work will be done.
