Dangerous pavement on top of widcombe hill

Reported via desktop in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category anonymously at 22:02, Thursday 13 January 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3239258.

The pavement along Widcombe hill, especially at the top towards Copseland is extremely dangerous for pedestrians. It is very slippery, almost like an ice rink. There is an accumulation of leaves along the pavement, from last fall, that have never been cleared. The wet leaves, inclination of the pavement and icy conditions makes it highly hazardous to walk along Widcombe hill. This is a problem that has been present for the last 5 months and is exacerbate by the icy conditions at the moment.
