I would like urgent consideration please of installing bollards on the pavement outside my property at 18 Fairfield Road, BA16JG. I have been concerned for some time that excessively large vehicles are transitting Queenwood Avenue directly opposite and some are visibly struggling to get up the road, often to access other streets higher up. A few weeks ago I watched in horror as a massive and heavily laden scaffolding lorry struggled up that road, and later, inched its way down - it is a no through road, so what goes up has to come down the same way! I am worried that if brakes fail, a vehicle will come crashing down Queenwood Avenue and my property is directly opposite and therefore very vulnerable! My young son's bedroom and our living room are at the front of the house. We really need protective bollards (ideally 2-3) to mitigate any issues caused by vehicles hurtling down Queenwood Avenue due to brake failure. I would be very grateful to have consideration of this request please. Thank you!
